We knew we wanted to do something special for the people who support Ampegy, our Independent Reps and their businesses. So we gathered together a small group of individuals who are passionate about giving back and asked them for their ideas. What resulted is the Ampegy Community™.

Giving Back Is Our Mission

Our focus for the Ampegy Community™ is on the little things – because it’s the little things that matter and it’s the little things that add up to bigger things.

Some community efforts we’ve made in the past include:

• Helping A Hero – we’ve donated toward helping build homes for wounded veterans in Texas
• Fill Up On Ampegy – we gave away gas for 50 cents a gallon to 85 lucky people in Sacramento
• Canned Food Drive – we donated one can of food to a local food bank for every person who followed our @Ampegy Twitter account
• A November To Remember – we supported the Patriot Games’ Ohio launch event by sponsoring the evening entertainment and donating an iPad® 2 to the raffle
• The Show Must Go On – we gave money to help I SA IT Ministries in California purchase new puppets and sound equipment for their community puppet show program

When you become a customer through an Ampegy Independent Representative and pay your bill each month, you’re fueling the Ampegy Community™ and allowing us to give back to those who need us most. Without your continued support, our Ampegy Community™ efforts would not be possible.

Apply for Support from the Ampegy Community™

The basis of this program is to allow community citizens to apply for funding for various causes.

While we will entertain almost any request we receive, there are three main causes Ampegy supports. These causes include:

1. Education: Efforts to strengthen and support the quality of public and education, from kindergarten through higher education and beyond.
2. Environment: Supporting programs that promote initiatives like tree plantings, recycling programs, cleaner air and water or that protect and preserve our eco-system.
3. Events: Supporting events that strengthen the community and closely align with our core values.

The type of support Ampegy offers depends on the request, but most support falls into one of three general areas:

1. Direct Cash Support – we will write a check and send it to the requesting party
2. Value In Kind – we will purchase the goods needed to fulfill the request
3. Volunteer Support – we will send Ampegy volunteers out to fulfill the request

No matter what you might need, Ampegy wants the chance to help!
